Burien Strawberry Festival

The Burien Strawberry and Arts Festival is charming two-day community event put on by Burien Parks and Recreation. In 2009, after struggling to find the time necessary to run and manage the Strawberry Festival with the attention it deserves, Burien parks and Recreation contracted New Growth to take over all vendor procurement, vendor relations and operations of the festival.

New Growth successfully restructured the overall layout of the event and improved load-in/out, and vendor involvement which resulted in increased revenue for both Burien and the vendors, in addition to dramatically improving the flow and organization of the event. Feedback from both the City of Burien and vendors alike proved that New Growth’s involvement made the event better than it has been in years!
