Oktoberfest Northwest debuted in 2005 and continues to grow! The event is built inside the Showplex Hall at the Puyallup Fairgrounds.  Oktoberfest Northwest features authentic German grub and grog, a large shopping area, children’s activities, the Hammerschlagen Tournament of Champions and much more.

One of the biggest challenges of bringing an authentic German Oktoberfest festival to the Pacific Northwest is ensuring the caliber and relevancy of the entertainment.  New Growth handles all talent buys for the festival, from research to contracting to on-site fulfillment of riders and equipment.  These buys include not only bands and troupes from Germany, but also popular musicians from across the United States, Canada and other European countries.  Oktoberfest Northwest’s entertainment line-up garners kudos from attendees, neighboring Oktoberfests and the performers and participants themselves.  New Growth specializes in working with limited budgets, and employs methods such as talent-sharing with other events.  Past performers include Munich’s Die Wossner, Germany’s Bavarian Brewers’ Band, the Greg Meir Bavarian Quartet, Enzian Shuhplattler Dancers and Master Yodeler Kerry Christiansen.
