Olympics Torino, Beijing, and Vancouver

New Growth was hired by Olympic Broadcasting Services in Torino, Beijing, and Vancouver to engineer the technical operations center and broadcast management center for various Olympic venues including alpine skiing, women’s softball, and speed skating. We were given the challenge of taking in audio and video feeds from the host broadcasters, and distributing them to the rest of the world.

It has been an excellent lesson in international diplomacy, and over-coming language barriers through the international language of engineering. We not only possess these broadcast engineering skills, but also the management skills necessary to organize and plan large events of this nature. This experience has helped us bridge the gap between logistics and engineering, and made our company detail oriented managers with excellent communication skills.
