SAM Goes Downtown : New Growth Event Solutions

Festivals Inc. was hired to create and manage the official ground-breaking ceremony for the Seattle Art Museum (SAM). Our job was to create a publicity campaign that would generate strong media coverage as well as inspire the Seattle Community to support the new museum. Festivals Inc. worked in partnership with a local public relations firm in overseeing all press materials and also handled all logistics for the ceremony itself, including catering, public address system, promotional collateral and administrative coordination. All those attending received an official SAM Goes Downtown construction workers helmet that helped create great photo opportunities for the media and a memorable gift to attendees.
